We just bought a new commercial building in bankers hill that needs a landscaping makeover. The idea was to have a low maintenance, simple, clean design that would require little watering and up keep. We called Meier's yard polishing, and they had Mark come out and take look at the project, he designed something we loved, and it was done in 2 days. The building had some ugly bricks and carpet leading to the front door. After Chris & Curtis finished the landscaping, I asked Mark if he can do anything quick and within our budget to finish off the carpet and ugly brick leading to the front door, and he suggested pavers. We went with his advice and loved it. We have included some before and after pics of the quality work that was done.

Mark, Chris, and Curtis did an awesome job with project, and I would highly recommend Meier's Yard polishing and landscape

I needed to have a retaining wall, and a concrete slabbed poured in our backyard. The existing wall was failing, and we were concerned the 26 solar panels might come down off our bank. Mark and his son Chris managed the jobsite and crew professionally and efficiently, and I couldn't have imagined a better outcome. I highly recommend them for any of your wall and landscaping needs.

We hired Mark Meier and his professional team to replace failed sod in our backyard after it was overtaken by a fungal infection. We also had them repair extensive rot and termite damage to our gazebo structure over the yard, including cleaning and prepping it, color matching to another backyard structure and painting it, and adding additional structural support to vulnerable, damaged areas. Mark was extremely helpful in diagnosing sod issues, suggesting solutions, and coordinating the repairs. He ensured the proper type of sod was selected and that the installation went smoothly. His team was very prompt, clean, and efficient. Most importantly, they were diligent in maintaining security of our property and our pets during their work. They were very easy to work with, providing detailed estimates and accurate time frames. Our sod has thrived and the project turned out great. We will definitely be utilizing Meier's Yard Polishing in the future.

We hired Meier's yard polishing to install new sod and irrigation in our backyard. The results were fantastic. We have a lush green lawn and the new irrigation system provides full coverage to keep it looking that way. He also installed a drip irrigation system to water some citrus and avocado trees that we have. Mark (the owner) was EXTREMELY communicative and detailed whenever I asked any questions (and I asked a lot). The guy is a guru of grass. He gave very detailed after-care instructions to keep the grass green and looking its best. I would re-hire Meier's Yard Polishing for any future landscape jobs without giving it a second thought.

Meier's Yard Polishing and Landscaping came as a referral from friends. And as we all know, not all referrals are good referrals. But let me start by saying Mark (owner) is amazing. He has vision, determination and displayed complete professionalism the entire project. We started out with a very specific, already design low water, drought-resistant landscape. Not only did Mark cater to our specific requests and design, he brought very creative ideas and resolutions. He enhanced our original plan through great recommendation and left us with ideas for down the road when we decide to do a little more upgrading. Mark was flexible in allowing us to purchase some of the materials (instead of invoicing everything) and had an amazing ability to really drill down on the amounts of material needed and the labor - there were no surprised - when it comes to price, he is a straight shooter. Mark continued to present amazing ideas, all while being very mindful to our respective budget. We were

so impressed with the progress of the front yard that we had Mark and team take on our backyard project - to include a fire-pit, decomposed granite, drip-system, step-stone path, and overall landscaping clean-up.

Mark and his Meier's Yard Polishing and Landscaping team were all profession, courteous, timely, flexible, and took pride in the fact that our project was indeed their project! Wow

In closing, Mark took a great interest in the outcome of this project. Not because of a promise of a great YELP review, but because he told us he wanted something to be proud about when they were finished. This represents a very high level of integrity and pride - you do not find this level of professionalism and genuine interest very often.

I have nothing negative to say and would recommend Mark and his team 100% for project large and small.

We searched high and low and found Mark and Chris Meiers. They had a great design and worked with us with changes as we went along. We absolutely love the finished product. The retaining wall is one of a kind and beautifully executed. The pavers matched our roof and paint scheme. They exceeded our expectations. Had a few quotes done, Meier's yard polishing showed up in the middle. I chose him because he was quick with quotes, speaks english so he could understand exactly what I wanted, and also had good suggestions for things, he didn't try to up sell me on flagstone and other things that would essentially double my budget.

He showed up every day on time, and everything ran as planned. If there was rain in the forecast, he called the day previous to let me know that he won't be coming if there is rain etc.. the person that I bought the house from had a buried water line that Mark hit, as it was shallow and not run properly, he fixed it.

You get full documentation, professional, timely service, and his insured/licensed, so you know things are going to be taken care on the legal aspect. I've been doing a lot of upgrades on my house, and this has been one of the more pleasant experiences, thanks Mark!

*BTW: I'm having him quote my sod now, because I liked his service that much 🙂 *

Mark and Chris do awesome work. Have seen some of there work done and is just spectacular. Honest and trustworthy company. When getting this kind of service done, you want a company that does not cut corners and this company definitely doesn't do that. They do a great job at what they do and would definitely recommend them!

I found Mark Meier from Craigslist. We bought a home in 2009 and the front yard was very much neglected. We kept talking about redoing our yard, but also kept putting it off. Finally after 3yrs, we made the decision to move forward. Mark was on time and very easy to work with, and accommodating with our schedule. His ideas on our much needed yard make over was fantastic. When the job was done, not only were we very very pleased, but our neighbors had very great compliments as well!
